Mr. and Mrs. Sammie Willhite, Holts Summit, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary July 7 with a family dinner at the home of their daughter. Sammie Willhite and Ruth Adele Young were married July 7, 1963, at Brush Creek Baptist Church, Gray Summit. The Rev. Michael McBride officiated. They were attended by John and Earlene Alexander, Dono-van and Joan Morris, Laura Willhite, Delores Young, Bob Harfst, and Jim Barnhart. Mr. and Mrs. Willhite have two children: Timothy Willhite and Michelle Newburry. They also have three grandchildren.
