Stanley Verslues & Laurine Verslues

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Verslues, Taos, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 2 with a family barbecue. They will also be taking a trip to Hawaii this fall. Stanley Verslues and Laurine Niekamp were married June 7, 1958, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos. Rev. Mers officiated. They were attended by Evelyn Niekamp Kremer, Wilma Niekamp Prenger, Leon Verslues (deceased), and Roger Verslues (deceased). Mr. and Mrs. Verslues have seven children: Mike Verslues, Ernie Verslues (Jan), Wanda Borman (Mark), Barb Wilbers (Tim), Les Verslues (Gina), Stan Verslues Jr., and Joyce Bexten (Tim). They also have 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
