Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Budnik, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 2 with dinner and music with family and friends at Wasserlauf Valley, Russellville, hosted by their children. Jerry Budnik and Linda Thuli were married June 1, 1968, at Assumption Parish, Morrison. Father Oligschlaeger officiated. They were attended by Judy Callais Schwartzer, Russellville; Ronnie Budnik, Chamois; Sandra Budnik Gruebbeling, Chamois; Leslie Budnik, Linn; Beverly Nichols, Jefferson City; Dennis Thuli, Berger; Barbara Callais Engelbrecht, Benton, Kan.; and Kenny Budnik, Owensville. Mr. and Mrs. Budnik have three children: Sherry Scheuler and her husband Aaron, Eugene; Steven Budnik (deceased) and his wife Felena, Belle; and Daniel Budnik and his wife Lisa, Eugene. They also have eight grandchildren: Joshua Scheuler, Kaysie Scheuler, Zachary Scheuler, Ashlie Budnik, Shelbie Budnik Joslin, Joseph Budnik, Samuel Budnik, and Vince Vanderfeltz; and one great-grandchild, Daniel Espinosa.
