Mr. and Mrs. Rex Boyd, Holts Summit, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary October 26 with a dinner hosted by Dana Boyd Nichols. Rex Boyd and Mary C. Schwarzer were married October 26, 1968, at St. Martins Catholic Church, St. Martins. The late Kenneth McDonnell officiated. They were attended by Joseph and Anna Schwarzer, deceased; Darrell Boyd, deceased; Betty Boyd, Jefferson City; Rose Ann Schwarzer Bemboom, Owensboro, Ky.; Ruth Schwarzer Ziegler, Tallahassee, Fla.; Cathy Boyd Klote, Warrensburg; Kristie Boyd Wever, Jefferson City; Danny Boyd, deceased; Johnny Schwarzer, deceased; Larry Schwarzer, Centertown; Danny Schaefer, Jefferson City; and David Boyd, Jefferson City. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd have two children: Dana Boyd Nichols and Lori Boyd Isom, both of Jefferson City. They also have seven grandchildren: Zach Isom, Dalton Isom, Tristan Isom, Andrew Isom, Kayla Nichols, Danny Cotten, and Dylan Isom, deceased; and two great-grandchildren: Thaddeus Isom and Aria Isom.
