Taylor Schafer and Sam Kiekhaefer, both of San Antonio, Texas, were married at 3 p.m., August 11, at Dancing Dragonfly Winery, St. Croix Falls, Wis. Pastor Jason Uptmore of Wayside Chapel, San Antonio, Texas, performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jean and John Volkert, Amery, Wis., and Matt and Jenny Schafer, New Richmond, Wis. The groom is the son of Mark and Nina Kiekhaefer, Jefferson City. A dinner and dance reception immediately followed the ceremony at Dancing Dragonfly Winery, St. Croix Falls, Wis. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held August 10 at Pegasus Lodge Air BnB, St. Croix Falls, Wis. The bride is a 2011 graduate of Amery High School, Amery, Wis., and a 2016 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, LaCrosse, Wis., with a BA degree. She is employed with AmeriCorps, San Antonio, Texas. The groom is a 2010 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City; and a 2014 graduate of the United State Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., with a BS degree. He is a Captain with the United States Air Force, San Antonio, Texas. After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple resides in Augusta, Ga.
