Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wolters, Jefferson City, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today with a reception with family and friends at the American Legion Post 5, Jefferson City, hosted by their children. Donald Wolters and Catherine Maasen were married October 5, 1968, at St. Louis Church, Bonnots Mill. Rev. John Long officiated. They were attended by Mary Ruth (Maasen) Backes, Wilmington, N.C.; Mary Jean (Fullmer) Henley, Hartsburg; Helen (Maasen) Kliethermes, St. Martins; Kenneth Wolters, Holts Summit; Roger Schepkers, deceased; and Leon Rackers, Jefferson City. Mr. and Mrs. Wolters have two children: Rick Wolters and his wife Keri, Holts Summit, and Lance Wolters and his wife Alicia, Holts Summit. They also have four grandchildren: Justin, Willie, Jordan, and Brittany; one great-grandchild, Caiden, and another great-grandchild due in December.
