Shelby LeCuru, Jefferson City, and Austin Gordon, Holts Summit, were married at 2 p.m., September 8, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Father I.C. Medina performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Eric and Bonnie LeCuru, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Barb Gordon, Holts Summit, and the late Greg Gordon. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace and satin gown adorned with a crystal beaded bodice and V-neckline, tulle layered skirt, open back, and chapel train. She completed her ensemble with a one-tier, fingertip-length veil with rhinestone accents on the edges. She carried a bouquet of light blue delphinium, peach roses and carnations, white ranunculus and hydrangeas, and eucalyptus. The honor attendants were Lindsey Thomas, Holts Summit, sister of the bride, and Erin Gordon, Holts Summit, sister of the groom. The attendants were Eli Sandbothe, Jefferson City, friend of the couple; Rachel Hughes, Jefferson City, friend of the couple; Hannah Campbell, Oceanside, Calif., friend of the couple; and Courtney Lock, Prairie Village, Kan., friend of the couple. The best man was Joe Keeven, Kansas City, friend of the couple. The groomsmen included: Tanner Kenworthy, Jefferson City, friend of the couple; Garrett Brooks, New Bloomfield, friend of the couple; Levi Autenrieth, Tebbetts, friend of the couple; Hunter Leeper, Mokane, friend of the couple; and Tyler Jaegers, Orlando, Fla., friend of the couple. The miniature bride was Karsyn Denny, daughter of Kurt and Dara Denny, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. The miniature groom was Austin Brown, son of Ryan and Carrie Brown, St. Charles, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Charlie Mackay, daughter of Tyler and Monica Mackay, Fort Knox, Ky., cousin of the groom. The ring bearer was Gavin McGeorge, son of Justin and Jenna McGeorge, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. The candlelighters were Brailee Schulte, San Francisco, Calif., friend of the couple, and Sydnae Cavness, Sedalia, friend of the couple. The ushers were Zach LeCuru, Jefferson City, brother of the bride; Colby LeCuru, Jefferson City, brother of the bride; Jefferson City; Tate Borgmeyer, Tebbetts, friend of the couple; and Gage Autenrieth, Tebbetts, friend of the couple. The organist was Scott Sellner, Jefferson City. The vocalist was Connie Andrews, Jefferson City, friend of the couple. The lectors were Lori Lopez, Jefferson City, aunt of the bride, and Doug Reinsch, Kirksville, uncle of the bride. Offertory was presented by Isaac Lopez, Sam Lopez, Jacob Lopez, and Eli Lopez, all of Jefferson City, cousins of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Wardsville Lions Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's mother, was held September 7 at the Wardsville Lions Club. The bride is a 2012 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, Jefferson City, and a 2016 graduate of William Woods University, Fulton, with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is employed with Mid America Bank. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, Jefferson City. He is employed with Midwest Welding. After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Holts Summit.
