Mr. and Mrs. Dale F. Gerstner, Jefferson City, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today with a family dinner at their home and will take a family vacation in July to Watermill Cove Resort on Table Rock Lake in Branson. Dale F. Gerstner and Kathy A. Stratman were married April 21, 1979, at St. Peter Church, Jefferson City. Fr. Kevin Gormley officiated. They were attended by Sharon (Stratman) Armstrong, Jefferson City; Steve Gerstner, Jefferson City; Carla Benz, Russellville; Larry Gerstner, Rocky Mount; Janet (Stratman) Brown and Kevin Brown, Jefferson City; Lynda Gerstner, Colorado; Alan Gerstner, Venice, Fla.; Lynn (Stratman) Gerstner and Ron Gerstner, Jefferson City; Joe Stratman, Jefferson City; Scott Stratman, Ashland; Jan Rinehart, Jefferson City; and Marilyn Dressman, Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Gerstner have three children: Stacie Verslues and her husband Francis, Jefferson City; Leslie Switzer and her husband Drew, Kansas City; and Dayla Gassner and her husband Cory, Jefferson City. They also have eight grandchildren: Grace, Evan and Sophia Verslues; Max, Summer and Leo Switzer; and Mya and Jayce Gassner.
