Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Ott, Lohman, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at St. John's Lutheran Church, Lohman, hosted by their children. Palmer Ott and Patty Tripp were married May 17, 1969, at Immanuel Baptist Church, Jefferson City. Rev. Arnold Bickel officiated. They were attended by Linda Strange, Jefferson City; Donna (Toebben) Cease, The Villages, Fla.; Shirley (Bowman) Hagenhoff, Jefferson City; David Ott, Russellville; Don Linsenbardt, deceased; and Elroy Stubinger, Lohman. Mr. and Mrs. Ott have two children: Vicki McCommon and her husband Doug, Pleasant Hill; and Amy Schepmann and her husband Troy, Olathe, Kan. They also have five grandchildren: Hannah McCommon, Hailey McCommon, Grace McCommon, Kaylana Schepmann, and Layla Schepmann.
