Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Muenks, Jefferson City, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 25 with an open house at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Taos, hosted by their children. Maurice Muenks and Jean Frank were married May 25, 1974, at Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City. Father Louis Dorn and Father Richard Frank officiated. They were attended by Randy Muenks, Loose Creek; Annie (Veltrop) LePage, Russellville; Tom LePage, Russellville; Barbara (Muenks) McKinzie, California; Greg Muenks, Loose Creek; and Beth (Williams) Howser, Jefferson City. Mr. and Mrs. Muenks have three children: Theresa Prenger and her husband Jason, Jefferson City; Carrie Muenks, Holts Summit; and Paul Muenks, Linn. They also have two grandchildren: Madda-len Prenger and Anna Prenger.
