Katie Marie Starkey and Brian Steven Bassmann, both of Josephville, were married November 10, 2018 at Hermann Hill, Hermann. Terry Hammer performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jackie and Mike Needham, Josephville. The groom is the son of Donna Bassmann, Jefferson City, and the late Sam Bassmann. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white corset style strapless ballroom gown with V-neck and low back, trimmed in lace with an applique tulle skirt and cathedral-length train. She completed her ensemble with a cathedral-length tulle veil. She carried a bouquet of burgundy and white roses and ranunculus. The honor attendant was Kristen Steinhart, Dallas, Texas, sister of the bride. The attendants were Lauren Needham, Josephville, sister of the bride; Jenny Needham, St. Charles, sister of the bride; Ashley Behr, O'Fallon, mother of ring bearer; Abbey Kluesner, O'Fallon, friend of the couple; and Nicki Bruemmer, O'Fallon, friend of the couple. They wore various styles of burgundy, long flowing dresses. The best man was Nick Brondel, Kansas City, friend of the couple. The groomsmen included: Christopher Bassmann, Jefferson City, brother of the groom; Josh Needham, O'Fallon, brother of the bride; Mason Hutchison, Maryland Heights, friend of the couple; Clay Larue, Viburnum, friend of the couple; and Kevin Dickherber, Columbia, friend of the couple. The flower girls were Gracie and Harper Kluesner, daughters of Doug and Abbey Kluesner, and Avery Morris, daughter of Nicki and Curtis Bruemmer, friends of the couple. The ring bearer was Lincoln Needham, son of Josh Needham and Ashley Behr, brother and future sister-in-law of the bride. The ushers were Trevor Steinhart, Dallas, Texas, brother-in-law of the bride; Doug Kluesner, O'Fallon, friend of the couple; and Curtis Bruemmer, O'Fallon, friend of the couple. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Hermann Hill, Hermann. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the mother of the groom, was held November 9, 2018 at The Loft at Fernwey Distilling Co., Hermann. The bride is a 2006 graduate of St. Dominic High School, O'Fallon, and a 2011 graduate of Southeast Missouri State, Cape Girardeau, with a Bachelor of Science in Housing and Interior Design. She is a Custom Home Consultant at Lombardo Homes. The groom is a 2005 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2009 graduate of Lindenwood College, St. Charles, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a Sales Estimator with PermaSeal USA. After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Josephville.
