Paloma Vasquez and Scott Christopher Frank, both of South Padre Island, Texas, were married at 5 p.m., July 20, at Temple of the Immaculate Conception, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. Fr. Eric Groner, Fort Worth, Texas, friend of the groom, performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jose Vasquez, Brownsville, Texas, and Amparo Rodriquez, South Padre Island, Texas. The groom is the son of Steve and Jane Frank, Jefferson City. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a tulle princess gown with a lace bodice. She completed her ensemble with a chapel-style tulle veil with lace. She carried a multi-colored Mexican themed bouquet. The honor attendant was Marianna Devlin, Bayview, Texas, friend of the couple. The attendants were Patricia Barrera-Richards, Houston, Texas, friend of the bride; Anais Barrera-Wittmer, Brownsville, Texas, cousin of the bride; and Gaby Ramixez, Brownsville, Texas, cousin of the bride. They wore fuschia floor-length, sleeveless dresses of multiple styles. The best man was Chris Devlin, Bayview, Texas, friend of the couple. The groomsmen included: Mark Mueller, Denver, Colo., friend of the groom; Christian Asel, St. Martin, friend of the groom; and Josh Lumley, Plymouth, Mich., friend of the groom. The flower girls were Maya Richards, daughter of Patricia and Christopher Richards, Houston, Texas, friend of the bride; Karime and Elisia Delagarza, daughters of Iris and Beny Delagarza, Brownsville, Texas, cousins of the bride; and Ania Vasquez, daughter of Natalia and Luis Vasquez, Brownsville, Texas, niece of the bride. The ring bearers were Luke and Liam Wittmer, sons of Anais and Erich Wittmer, Brownsville, Texas, cousins of the bride; Andes Vasquez, son of Natalia and Luis Vasquez, Brownsville, Texas; nephew of the bride; and Oliver Devlin, son of Mariana and Chris Devlin, Bayview, Texas, godson of the bride and groom. Music was provided by Mozart Ensemble, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. The lector was Mary Frank, Jefferson City, grandmother of the groom. Offertory was presented by Sue Danner, Town and Country, aunt of the groom; and Gloria Wolfe, Overland Park, Kan., aunt of the groom. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Hotel Real De Minas, San Miguel de Allende. An additional reception was held August 30 at Kertz Hall, Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City. The bride is a 2007 graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Brownsville, Texas; and a 2011 graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Philadephia, Pa. with a BS in Marketing. She is an Enterpreneur with Lullaby Baby and Child, Brownsville, Texas, and attending college at Texas Southmost, Brownsville, Texas, pursuing a degree in Medical Sonography. The groom is a 2005 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2009 graduate of Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts - secondary education with degree in World and U.S. History with all Social Studies Endorsement. He is a Master History Teacher at IDEA Frontier Charter School, Brownsville, Texas. After a wedding trip to Cancun and Tulum, Mexico, the couple resides in South Padre Island, Texas.
