Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Vaughan, Holts Summit, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Kenneth Vaughan and Deborah Williams were married August 31, 1969, at Hopewell Baptist Church, New Bloomfield. B.E. Lett, great-uncle of the bride, officiated. They were attended by Barbara McKim, state of Maine, Gracia Yancey Backer, New Bloomfield; Susan Boyd Sapp, state of Texas; Sharon Hall Williams, Lake Ozark; Mike Vaughan, St. Charles; Melvin Schulenberg, Jefferson City; James Williams, Lake Ozark; and Danny Murphy, Fulton. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan have three children: James "Mitch" Vaughan, deceased; Angie Vaughan, Kansas City; and Tony Vaughan, Holts Summit.
