Erica Lynn Lyons, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Blake Austin Monson, Jefferson City, were married May 25 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Des Moines, Iowa. Deacon Bill Richer performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Don and Lori Lyons, West Des Moines, Iowa. The groom is the son of Keith and Merisue Monson, Jefferson City. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Des Moines Golf and Country Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held May 24 at Fire Creek Grill, West Des Moines, Iowa. The bride is a 2012 graduate of Valley High School, West Des Moines, Iowa, and a 2016 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Apparel Management. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2016 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is an HMDA Officer and CRCM at Providence Bank, Columbia. After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Ashland.
