Lesley Anne Barlow, Jefferson City and Joseph Gregory Mathews, Wright City, were married at 4 p.m., July 27, at Faith Lutheran Church, Jefferson City. Pastor Eric Gledhill performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Greg and Jane Barlow, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Greg and Galen Mathews, Wright City. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a vintage, lace gown with a sable underlay and a corset-style lace-up back. The bride carried a hand-tied clutch bouquet of miniature white calla lilies, shades of pink roses, salmon spray roses, pale pink lilies, white astilbe, light blue delphinium, lavender statice and pale green hydrangeas. The stems of her bouquet were wrapped in pale pink satin and overlaid in ivory lace. The honor attendant was Sarah Broughton, Blue Springs, sister of the bride. The attendants were Mattie Humphery, Blue Springs, friend of the bride; Elizabeth Albert, Lake of the Ozark, friend of the bride; Danielle Brower, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; Maggie Mathews, Wright City, sister of the groom; and Danielle Denney, Kansas City, friend of the bride. They wore mint green, knee-length gowns. The best man was Max Mathews, St. Louis, brother of the groom. The groomsmen included: Mark Schepker, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Tom Flynn, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Kevin Joyce, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Jesse Mathews, Florissant, Colo., cousin of the groom; and Cody Fry, St. Louis, friend of the groom. The flower girl was Kamryn Gockel, daughter of Eric and Jill Gockel, Maryville, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Kody Gockel, son of Eric and Jill Gockel, Maryville, cousin of the bride. The candlelighters were Hanna Berendzen, Jefferson City, friend of the bride, and Maghan Lage, Jefferson City, friend of the bride. The ushers were Jared Broughton, Blue Springs, brother-in-law of the bride, and Danny Mathews, Florissant, Colo., cousin of the groom. The organist was Tommy Greene, Jefferson City, friend of the bride. The guestbook/Liturgist was Callie Koch, Jefferson City, friend of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Millbottoms in Jefferson City. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held July 26 at Prison Brews. The bride is a 2013 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City; a 2016 graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science, Education degree; and a 2018 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Masters of Art TESOL degree. She is an elementary English Language Learners Educator at Blue Springs School District, Blue Springs. The groom is a 2011 graduate of St. Dominic High School, O'Fallon and a 2015 graduate of University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is a Medical Sales Representative for Cancer Diagnostics Incorporated. After a wedding trip to the Western Caribbean, the couple reside in Grain Valley.
