Dr. and Mrs. Walter W. Valentine, Jefferson City, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Due to COVID-19, a celebration will be held at a later date. Walter Valentine and Janet Shelley were married August 22, 1970 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Ken Kehress officiated. They were attended by Bruce Barber, deceased, and Mrs. Karen (Shelley) Berry. Dr. and Mrs. Valentine have four children: Karen Valentine, Denver, Colo.; Christine (Candy) Valentine, Jefferson City; Mark and his wife Lena Valentine, Kansas City; and Robert and his wife Jamie Sever, Highland Village, Texas. They also have four grandchildren: Mason and Brandon Valentine, and Tanner and Brody Sever.
