Mr. and Mrs. Larry Schwarzer, Centertown, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving, reception and dance at St. Martin Catholic Church Hall, St. Martin, at a later date, hosted by their children and grandchildren. Larry Schwarzer and Shirley Carel were married June 13, 1970, at St. Martin Catholic Church, St. Martin. Rev. Brendan Doyle officiated. They were attended by Beverly Brondel, Jefferson City; Bernard Brondel, Jefferson City; Nancy Hart, Russellville; John Schwarzer, deceased; Ruth Ziegler, Tallahassee, Fla.; Donnie Carel, St. Martin; Donna Anderson, Russellville; and Terry Carel, California. Mr. and Mrs. Schwarzer have two children: Danny Schwarzer, Jefferson City, and David Schwarzer and his wife Christinea Schwarzer, St. Martin. They also have four grandchildren: Katie Spillane, Emily Spillane, Sophia Schwarzer, and Isabella Schwarzer.
