Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kempker celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Oscar's Classic Diner, Jefferson City, and with a private gathering at their home. Leonard Kempker and Marilyn Kloeppel were married June 4, 1960 at St. Boniface Church, Koeltztown. Rev. Richard Riechling officiated. They were attended by Barbara Kempker, Lorene Kempker, Linda Forck, all deceased; Shirley Sandbothe, Taos; Herman Kempker Jr., Jefferson City; Henry Falter and Anthony Kempker, both deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Kempker have six children: Richard Kempker (Debbie), Freeburg; Bonnie Lehman (Joseph), Wardsville; Donna Berhorst (Michael), Westphalia; Becky Rackers (Dwayne), Taos; Dennis Kempker (Doris), Wardsville; and Scott Kempker, deceased. They also have 12 grandchildren: Deidre Koch, Stephen Lehman, Ciara Childs, Lauren Luebbert, Joshua Kempker, Jordan Kempker, Cheyenne Kempker, Austin Kempker, Bryce Kempker, John Berhorst, Kristy Blecha, Holly Hazell; and nine great- grandchildren: Jetta Lehman, Bayn Lehman, Raelynn Rackers, Madilyn Luebbert, Emmalyn Luebbert, Ellisyn Koch, Cayden Duell, Braiden Blecha, and Scarlett Blecha.
