Curt and Christine Prater, Jefferson City, announce the engagement of their son, Joseph Prater, Lake St. Louis, to Lauren Zielinski, Lake St. Louis, daughter of Larry and Karen Zielinski, St. Peters. A June 13 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church, Dardenne Prairie. The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Incarnate Word Academy, St. Louis, and a 2017 graduate of Ross University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is employed with Banfield Pet Hospital, O'Fallon. The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, Jefferson City, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education degree. He is a P.E. teacher at St. Alban Roe School, Wildwood.
