Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Meisel, Lohman, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today with a meal at Steve's Family Restaurant, Lohman, with their children and grandchildren, hosted by the couple. John Lee Meisel and Judy Ehrhardt were married November 22, 1970, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Honey Creek), Jefferson City. The late Rev. Ervin Junkans officiated. They were attended by Ronald Meisel, deceased; Linda (Ehrhardt) Loesch, Keith Fluegel, Carolyn (Meisel) Fluegel, Edwin Ehrhardt, Loretta (Ehrhardt) Schulte, all of Jefferson City; Becky (Mueller) Meissen, Sturgeon; and Randy Meisel, Marriottsville, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Meisel have two children: Jennifer (Meisel) Farris and her husband Richard, Jefferson City; and Jason Meisel and his wife Jennifer, Jefferson City. They also have six grandchildren: Madison Meisel, Logan Meisel, Cody Farris, Ethan Farris, Brandon Williams, and Morgan Rackers.
