Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Bisges, Wardsville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday at the Bisges Farm, hosted by their children. Leroy Bisges and Anna Mertens were married October 10, 1970, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Fr. Paul Distler officiated. They were attended by Fred Mertens, Jefferson City; Loretta Fitzpatrick, Jefferson City; Ken Lehman, Osage Bend; and Wanda (Rackers) Lehman, deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Bisges have four children: Duane Bisges and his wife Angie, Wardsville; Tricia Scrivner and her husband Ryan, Chanhassen, Minn.; Sara Verslues and her husband Aaron, Jefferson City; and Marcia Ann Bisges, deceased. They also have three grandchildren: Samantha Bisges, Todd Bisges, and Amber Bisges.
