Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dickneite, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise trip to Branson and Eureka Springs by Donna and Paul Luetkemeyer, along with a dinner Saturday hosted by their family. Dennis Dickneite and Carol Brunnert were married October 17, 1970, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle. Msgr. Ralph Kutz officiated. They were attended by David Struemph, deceased; John Brunnert, Carthage; Mike Dickneite, Freeburg; Allan Heckman, Folk; James Radmacher, Taos; Donna (Brunnert) Luetkemeyer, Freeburg; Deby (Brunnert) Markko, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Janice (Dickneite) Heckman, Folk; Betty (Kampeter) Council, Freeburg; and Linda (Kampeter) Reichel, Argyle. Mr. and Mrs. Dickneite have three children: Jessica Rooney, Jefferson City; Mark Dickneite and his wife Rachael, Bloomington, Ill.; and Ryan Dickneite and his wife Jill, Ashland. They also have eight grandchildren: Haley Mertgen, Jacob Rooney, Conner Rooney, Paige Walker, Carolyn Dickneite, Liam Dickneite, Emma Dickneite, Lexi Rooney; and one great-grandchild: Braxton Rooney.
