Mr. and Mrs. Lester Perkins, Holts Summit, are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. Lester Perkins and Lola Davis were married April 30, 1951, at the home of Wilber and Clara Wright, Rocheport. The late Rev. H.L. Worlledge officiated. They were attended by Harold and Dorothy Butcher. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins had four children: David Perkins and his wife Brenda, Holts Summit; Nathan Perkins and his wife Sally, Springfield; Joel Perkins (deceased) and his wife Brenda, Jefferson City; Lowell Perkins, Jefferson City; and a foster daughter, Lisa Luebbert and husband Doug, Holts Summit. They also have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
