Tara Kliethermes, Wardsville, and Chad Wolken, Taos, were married at 1 p.m., October 24, 2020, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Fr. Greg Meystrik performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Ben and Amy Steinman, Wardsville, and the late Joseph Kliethermes. The groom is the son of Rodney and Heather Wolken, Lexington. The honor attendant was Kallie Kerperin, Taos, friend of the bride. The attendants were Shelby Kampeter, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; Keisha Burton, New Bloomfield, friend of the bride; Madelyn Luebbering, Osage Bend, cousin of the groom; Cameron Ponder, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; Tressa Plummer, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; and Cassidy Prenger, Taos, friend of the bride. The best man was Matthew Kliethermes, Wardsville, brother of the bride. The groomsmen were Conner Wolken, Lexington, brother of the groom; Cory Burton, New Bloomfield, friend of the groom; Jared Steinman, Wardsville, brother of the bride; Evan Rackers, Wardsville, cousin of the bride; Peyton Rackers, Wardsville, cousin of the bride; and Cayden Bertz, Lexington, friend of the groom. The miniature bride was Addi Wolken, daughter of Mark and Jennifer Wolken, Wardsville, cousin of the groom. The miniature groom was Cooper Wolken, son of Rodney and Heather Wolken, Lexington, brother of the groom. The flower girls were Ellie Wolken, daughter of Mark and Jennifer Wolken, Wardsville, cousin of the groom; and Ellisyn Rackers, daughter of Aaron and Ashley Rackers, Ashland, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Levi Wolken, son of Tom and Sarah Wolken, Osage Bend, cousin of the groom. The candlelighters were Sara Schmidt, Meta, cousin of the bride, and Molly Wolken, Osage Bend, cousin of the groom. The ushers were Blake Luebbering, Osage Bend, cousin of the groom; Kurtis Wilson, Wardsville, cousin of the bride; Leon Wolken, Osage Bend, cousin of the groom; and Grant Rackers, St. Louis, cousin of the bride. The organist was Mike Bruns and the vocalist was Connie Andrews. The Mass servers were Olivia Luebbering, Osage Bend, and Derek Troesser, Loose Creek. The lectors were Aaron Rackers, Ashland, and Sue Rackers, Wardsville. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Wardsville Lions Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held October 23, 2020, at the Wardsville Lions Club. The bride is a 2016 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2017 graduate of State Technical College of Missouri, Linn, with a Dental Assistant degree. The groom is a 2018 graduate of Lexington High School, Lexington, and a 2019 graduate of State Technical College of Missouri, Linn, with an Electrical degree. After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Taos.
