Sarah Walters and Weston Porter, both of Columbia, were married September 5 at Capital Bluffs Event Center, Jefferson City. Dr. Monte Shinkle performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Greg and Kelle Walters, Wooldridge. The groom is the son of Tony and Donna Porter, Jefferson City. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Capital Bluffs Event Center. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held September 4 at Domenico's Italian Restaurant. The bride is a 2015 graduate of Christian Fellowship School, Columbia; a 2019 graduate of Columbia College, Columbia, with a BS in Math and BA in Political Science; and is currently attending the University of Missouri School of Law, Columbia, pursuing a JD degree. She is a Legal Associate for Agents National Title Insurance Co. The groom is a 2016 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, Jefferson City, and a 2021 graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia, with a BA Political Science degree. He is a Sales Representative for Leilo, Relaxation Beverage Company, based out of New York. A wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic is planned for January 2022. The couple resides in Columbia.
