Mr. and Mrs. John Center, Jefferson City, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. John Center and Margaret (Susie) Smith were married July 24, 1971, at Temple Baptist Church, Sullivan. Rev. Vernon Maxted officiated. They were attended by John Boyer, Farmington; Tom Kernan, Bonne Terre; Stan Dace, Sullivan; Don Smith, Linda Smith, Cindy England, Janie England, and Abbie England, all of Beebe, Ark. Mr. and Mrs. Center have three children: Erin Center, Jefferson City; Brian Center and his wife Kathy, New Bloomfield; and Patrick Center and his wife Erin, Holts Summit. They also have three grandchildren: Brody Center, Brooklyn Center, and Coraline Center.
