Morgan Gehrke and Julian Taylor, both of Kansas City, were married May 30, 2020, at Tebbetts United Methodist Church, Tebbetts. Pastor Frank Goehringer performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Judy and Joe Martin, Jefferson City, and Rich Gehrke and Jill Ritchie, Irving, Texas. The groom is the son of Pete and June Taylor, York, England. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The honor attendant was Stephanie Behlmann, Brentwood, friend of the bride. The best man was Daniel Paez, San Diego, Calif., friend of the groom. The attendants and groomsmen that were unable to attend in person due to COVID restrictions but were present in spirit and in love were Andi Gehrke, Melbourne, Australia, sister of the bride; Maddie Dunkmann, Chicago, Ill., cousin of the bride; Molly Clark, Fulton, friend of the bride; Anna Guyette, Denver, Colo., friend of the bride; Morgan Westhues, Columbia, friend of the bride; Mason Kramer, Los Angeles, Calif., friend of the bride; Jack Bainbridge, York, England, friend of the groom; Leon Wrigglesworth, York, England, friend of the groom; Nathan Kilby, York, England, friend of the groom; Chris Marlein, Yarm, England, friend of the groom; Chris Reinert, Kansas City, friend of the groom; and Cruz Buchanan, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., friend of the groom. The flower girl was Kinley Gehrke, daughter of Ryan and Heather Gehrke, Plano, Texas, niece of the bride. The usher was Ryan Gehrke, Plano, Texas, brother of the bride. The vocalists were Beth and Logan Fluty, Columbia, friends of the bride. The lector was Chris Reinert, Kansas City, friend of the groom. A reception dinner followed the ceremony at Canterbury Hill Winery. The bride is a 2012 graduate of Southern Boone High School, Ashland; a 2016 and 2020 graduate of William Woods University, Fulton with a BS-Elementary Education degree and a EdS-Administration degree; and a 2018 graduate of the University of MO-Columbia with a MEd-Curriculum and Instruction degree. She is a fifth grade teacher in the Park Hill School District. The groom is a 2011 graduate of Huntington Secondary School, York, England; a 2015 graduate of Williams Woods University, Fulton, with a BS-Mathematics degree; and a 2019 graduate of William Woods University, Fulton, with a MBA-Entrepreneurship degree. He is co-founder at Veeper, Inc. In addition to a wedding trip in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, a wedding celebration is planned for December 2021 in York, England for family and friends that were unable to attend the ceremony due to COVID travel restrictions. The couple resides in Kansas City.
