Sarah Elizabeth Stansfield and Matthew Aaron Richards, both of Seattle, Wash., were married at 4 p.m., September 12, at Dunn Gardens, Seattle, Wash. Elaine Way performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Anita Stansfield, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Dean and Andrea Richards, Los Angeles, Calif. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Dunn Gardens. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the couple, was held September 10. The bride is a 2007 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City; a 2011 graduate of the University of MO-Columbia with a B.S. Anthropology and Mathematics degree; and a 2019 graduate of the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash., with a PhD. Biological Anthropology, MPH Epidemiology degree. She is employed at Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center in HIV Research. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Reseda High School, Reseda, Calif.; a 2010 graduate of the University of California-Berkley with a B.S. Chemical Engineering degree; and a 2016 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Ph.D Chemical Engineering degree. He is a Data Scientist at Shelf Engine, Seattle, Wash. After a wedding trip to Olympic National Park, the couple resides in Seattle, Wash.
