Abby Raye Rockers, Centertown, and Jesse Tanner Brown, Jefferson City, were married June 5 at St. Martin Church, Jefferson City. Fr. Stephen Jones and Fr. Jason Doke performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Gerard and Susie Rockers, Centertown. The groom is the son of Danny and Becky Brown, Madison, S.D. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The honor attendant was Ellie Rockers, Centertown, sister of the bride. The attendants were Alyssa Biggs, St. Louis, friend of the bride; Hillary Booth, Holts Summit, cousin of the bride; Nicole Brown, Madison, S.D., sister of the groom; Baylee Gerstner, St. Louis, friend of the bride; Emma Wyrick, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride; and Erin Wyrick, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. They wore champagne floor-length dresses. The best man was Cody Brown, Madison, S.D., brother of the groom. The groomsmen included Nathan Biggs, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Caleb Hawks, Lubbock, Texas, friend of the groom; John Meyer, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Malik Ray, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Zachary Rockers, Jefferson City, brother of the bride; and Lucas Zingmark, Scottsdale, Ariz., friend of the groom. The flower girl was Gail Gerling, daughter of Brad and Hayley Gerling, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Tyson Schwarzer, son of Michael and Taylor Schwarzer, Gladstone, cousin of the bride. The ushers were Christian Dusenberg, Centertown, cousin of the bride; Daniel Dusenberg, Centertown, cousin of the bride; Tre Holliday, Moscow Mills, friend of the groom; and Alex Rios, Tucson, Ariz., cousin of the groom. The organist was Michelle Oliver, Jefferson City, friend of the couple. The vocalist was Katie Karr, Jefferson City, friend of the couple. The lectors were Andy Brown, Tucson, Ariz., uncle and godfather of the groom; and Janie Wyrick, Jefferson City, aunt and godmother of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at The Millbottom. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held June 4 at Apple Creek Farm. The bride is a 2014 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, Jefferson City, and a 2019 graduate of Lincoln University, Jefferson City, with a degree in Nursing. She teaches at Helias Catholic High School. The groom is a 2013 graduate of Madison High School, Madison, S.D., and a 2018 graduate of Columbia College, Columbia, with a degree in English. He teaches at Capital City High School. After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Jefferson City.
