Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Brondel, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City, followed by a dinner at Revel Catering, Jefferson City. Bernie Brondel and Beverly Taube were married October 16, 1971, at Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City. Fr. Michael Quinn officiated. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eisterhold, Hartsburg; Larry Schwarzer, Centertown; Ron Klatt, Russellville; Jim Utrecht, Centertown; Barbara (Rademan) Mertens, Jefferson City; Becky Distler, Kaiser; and Carol (Brondel) Woehroer, Centertown. Mr. and Mrs. Brondel have two children: Amanda (Brondel) Rodemann and her husband Jacob, Jefferson City; and Andrew Brondel and his wife Amaya, Canaan, N.H. They also have six grandchildren: Emma Brondel, Gabriel Brondel, Evan Brondel, Kate Rodemann, Wilson Rodemann, and Duke Rodemann.
