Mr. and Mrs. Les Hancock, Jefferson City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner in Jefferson City, hosted by their children. A trip to Hawaii will be taken at a later date. Les Hancock and Brenda Pearson were married August 12, 1972, at First Baptist Church, Kirksville. Rev. Thomas Casady officiated. They were attended by Terri Riley Lynn, Loveland, Colo.; Ellen Williams Clithero, Columbia; Nancy Miller Wichman, deceased; Dr. Garry Pearson, Lohman; Pat Maulsby, Caddo, Okla.; and Ron Lewis, deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Hancock have two children: Jill Kilkenny and her husband Kevin Kilkenny, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Jessica Martinez and her husband Mike Martinez, Chesterfield. They also have four grandchildren: Kieran Kilkenny, Brendan Kilkenny, Caroline Martinez, and John Martinez.
