Leslie Buechter and Adam Buschjost, both of Osage Bend, were married at 1:30 p.m., October 16, 2021, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Fr. Gregory Meystrik performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Carol Buechter, Wardsville. The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Darlene Buschjost, Wardsville. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown accented with frosted embroidered appliques and an illusion bodice. A soft net ball gown laid over sequined Chantilly lace with scalloped hemline. She completed her ensemble with a fingertip veil trimmed with Chantilly lace. She carried a hand-tied clutch bouquet of ivory avalanche roses, light pink spray roses, dep red tinto roses, blue thistle and burgundy miniature carnations with accents of ruscus and salal, wrapped with ivory satin and pear accents. The honor attendant was Nicki Hayes, Wentzville, friend of the bride. The attendants were LeAnn Nutt, Lebanon, sister of the bride; Nicole Grothoff, Holts Summit, sister of the groom; Jessie Kramer, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; Molly Leonard, Jefferson City, cousin of the groom; Aubree Buechter, Osage Bend, daughter of the bride; and Haylee Nutt, Lebanon, niece of the bride. The best man was Joe Schmitz, Jefferson City, friend of the groom. The groomsmen included Cory Nutt, Lebanon, brother-in-law of the bride; Devin Grothoff, Holts Summit, brother-in-law of the groom; Evan Buechter, Jefferson City, brother of the bride; Alex Buschjost, Wardsville, cousin of the groom; Jaytin Nutt, Lebanon, nephew of the bride; and Houstin Nutt, Lebanon, nephew of the bride. The flower girls were Addilynn Buschjost, Osage Bend, daughter of the couple, and Sophia Grothoff, Holts Summit, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Gavin Nutt, Lebanon, nephew of the bride. The candlelighters were Amber Bock, Vienna, cousin of the bride, and Emily Rowland, Jefferson City, cousin of the groom. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the St. Martin's Knights of Columbus Hall. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Blair Oaks High School, Wardsville; a 2009 graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting; and a 2011 graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a Masters in Business Management/Finance. She is a Senior Auditor with the State of Missouri. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2008 graduate of Linn State Tech, Linn, with an Associates degree in Electrical Distribution. He is a Lineman with Central Electric Power Cooperative. A wedding trip will be taken at a future date. The couple resides in Osage Bend.
