Mr. and Mrs. Fred Evers, Mary's Home, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Mary's Home Center and a fall trip to Table Rock Lake with the family. Fred Evers and Margaret Berendzen were married July 12, 1952, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Mary's Home. Rev. Joseph Lorenz (deceased) officiated. They were attended by Bernard Evers, Eldon, and Helen Marie Clarkston, deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Evers have seven children: Randy Evers and his wife Joy, Columbia; Debbie Schulte and her husband Jerry, Mary's Home; Roger Evers, Mary's Home; Tom Evers, Ashland; Alan Evers and his wife Joann, St. Elizabeth; Tim Evers and his wife Paula, Mary's Home; and Bryan Evers and his wife Stacy, Mary's Home. They also have 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
