Harry Buersmeyer and Rita Holterman were married October 25, 1952, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rev. Michael Knecht officiated. They were attended by Clarence Buersmeyer and Angela Ortbals, both deceased.
Mr. and Mrs. Buersmeyer have one child: Diana Gerling and her husband Alan Gerling, Jefferson City. They also have two grandchildren: Jason Gerling and Kristen Berhorst, and four great-grandchildren: Tyler Gerling, Zach Gerling, Abbie Berhorst, and Avery Berhorst.
