The engagement of Amanda Carpenter and James Holland is announced today. The future bride is the daughter of Mark and Debbie Carpenter. Parents of the future bridegroom are Dan and Lisa Holland of Daleville, Miss. The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 6. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lee and Betty Vanoer, Gordon and Anita Harrower of Dunnsville, Va., David and Tina Carpenter of Keystone Heights, Fla, and the late Paul Lowe. Miss Carpenter received a bachelor?s degree in psychology from Bryan College. She is a receptionist at Lighthouse Counseling Center and is a member of City Church of Chattanooga. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Jim and Joann McRae of Daleville and David and Barbara Holland of Hooper, Colo. Mr. Holland received a bachelor?s degree in Biblical studies from Bryan College. He is a truss inspector at Clearspan Components Inc., and is a member of Daleville United Methodist Church.
