Two Super Bowl champs, an "Impractical Joker" and the Academy of Country Music's newly crowned female artist of the year will be in town over the next few days.

The Super Bowl champions are Los Angeles Rams cornerbacks Kareem Orr and Robert Rochell. Orr is a Notre Dame High School and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga alumnus who played with the Tennessee Titans before signing with the Rams. Rochell is a Louisiana native who played college football at the University of Central Arkansas.

They'll be toting replicas of the Vince Lombardi Trophy, said Kenneth Joshen Jr., president and CEO of Echelon Sports International, a sports agency based in Greenville, South Carolina.

Joshen, a Hixson High School graduate, said Orr is planning a football camp here in May, and discussions for that led to Saturday's For My City Super Bowl Bash at The Signal.

"He said, 'I just won the Super Bowl. I want to bring this home to my city. Let's throw a party,'" Joshen recounted in a phone interview. "We had about three weeks to plan it."

Meanwhile, comedian Sal Vulcano, one of the stars of the TruTV hidden-camera reality show "Impractical Jokers," will perform at the Tivoli, and Carly Pearce, who also won the Academy of Country Music's Music Event of the Year trophy at Monday's awards, leads off four upcoming shows at Walker Theatre.

Be advised that the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera's performance of Mozart's Symphony No. 41 is sold out, as is the Pink gala benefiting the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center. Saturday morning's Family Fun Day at Rock the Riverfront has been rescheduled for March 19 because of the weather.
