TO DO SUNDAY
- Watch the Academy Awards. Performances of this year's nominated songs - and one that notably isn't nominated - should be among the highlights of the 8 p.m. telecast on ABC. Beyonce will perform "Be Alive" from "King Richard." Billie Eilish will be joined by her brother, Finneas, for "No Time To Die" from the James Bond film of the same name. Reba McEntire will sing "Somehow You Do" from "Four Good Days," and Sebastian Yatra will perform "Dos Oruguitas" from "Encanto." Van Morrison, the fifth nominee for "Down to Joy" from "Belfast," is on tour and passed on the opportunity. Fans of "Encanto" will be glad to know that the movie's biggest hit, "We Don't Talk About Bruno," though not nominated, will still be in the spotlight. Writer Lin-Manuel Miranda told Variety he chose "Dos Oruguitas" for submission because it "best exemplifies the spirit of the movie." According to BuzzFeed, "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is not only the movie's most streamed song on Spotify, but it's the highest-charting Disney song in 26 years.
