- Sculpture Fields at Montague Park is encouraging Mother's Day picnics in the park to accompany a ribbon-cutting at 3 p.m. for a new steel sculpture titled "Lime Green Wedding Cake."
- Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park has a carload offer, offering admission for up to five guests for $120. The park will be open noon-6 p.m.
- Scenic City State Fair is in its final day at Camp Jordan. The $10 admission fee includes shows by the Dominguez Circus, Sea Lion Splash and Aquatic Acrobatics plus comedy, magic and music. For $45 you get unlimited carnival rides on the midway.
- Chattanooga Market vendors will have mom in mind with a selection of arts, crafts, foods and flowers.
- Rock City will show off its breathtaking spring scenery during its Southern Blooms Festival. Music, art activities and plants are among the offerings.
- High Point Climbing & Fitness has buy-one, get-one passes for Mother's Day.
- In Cleveland, the Southern Fried Food Truck Festival promises an array of food, arts, crafts and merchandise vendors on its final day.
- In Dunlap, there's still plenty of fun to be had at Valley Fest. Bluegrass artist Carrie Hassler will headline at 4 p.m. CDT.
