* Play like a pirate. The sixth annual Tennessee Pirate Fest is underway in Harriman, Tennessee, about 90 minutes north of Chattanooga. Interactive characters follow a storyline that the British Navy is set to invade New Orleans in 1814, leaving the Americans to turn to an unlikely hero, French pirate Capt. Jean Lafitte. Will Lafitte keep his word and not allow the British to pass his blockade, or will he accept a bribe from the king and allow the British to advance? The family celebration at 550 Fiske Road includes comedy shows, sword fighting, food, music, crafts and games.
