After a tough childhood watching his mother battle drug addiction, his teen years have been a more promising time of growth, thanks to the relationships he has formed at Silverdale and the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.
Silverdale Baptist Academy junior Maleak McAllister has seen firsthand the devastating effects that drug addiction can have on a family.
He's also proof that there's hope for those who have dealt with such devastation.
