The Chattanooga Lookouts are bringing back a pair of familiar faces for their 2023 coaching staff.

Jose Moreno will return for a second consecutive season as manager, while Daryle Ward is back as hitting coach. Ward was Chattanooga's 2019 hitting coach under manager Pat Kelly and spent the past two years in that role for the Single-A Dayton (Ohio) Dragons.

The announcement of Chattanooga's staff came via a release from its parent team, the Cincinnati Reds.

Moreno and Ward will be joined by pitching coach Brian Garman, who has worked alongside Ward the past two years with the Dragons. Also on Chattanooga's staff is coach Jefry Sierra, who will enter his ninth season in the Reds organization and worked last season as Dayton's outfield/baserunning coach.

Wade Hebrink will be the trainer for the Lookouts, with Kyle Laughlin serving as strength and conditioning coach. Each will be in his first year with Chattanooga.

The Lookouts, who went 61-75 last season and finished third in the Southern League's North Division, will put single-game tickets for the 2023 season on sale Monday, Feb. 20, with those available on Lookouts.com.
