Mike Bennett has joined the Chattanooga architectural firm Franklin Architects as the leader of its Healthcare Studio. Bennett is the creator of the Healthcare Design Network and is host of the Healthcare Design Podcast.

Susan Buchanan has been promoted to vice president of provider networks and contracting at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. She joined BlueCross in 2013 and most recently served as a regional director of provider network contracting where she led negotiations, value-based contracting, and provider service efforts for East Tennessee.

David Roberts is joining the Chambliss law firm in the firm's estate planning and business practice areas. Roberts graduated cum laude from Lee University and with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law.

Emily Dockery, an 18-year employee of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, was named vice president of brand management and communications. She leads the strategic planning, development and execution of brand communications across all channels for the Chattanooga-based health insurer.

Rachel Carroll has joined the Chattanooga Theatre Centre as the new marketing manager for the nonprofit arts group. Carroll holds a bachelor of arts in theatre from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee and a master's degree in public administration from UTC. She previously worked with Partnership for Families Children and Adults, WTCI-TV and the Chambliss Center for Children.

John Cole, CEO of the Shared Health subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, is now a corporate vice president responsible for supporting organizations in their Medicaid managed care operations and Medicare Advantage Dual Special Needs Plan operations.

Eric Stocking has joined the Chambliss law firm in Chattanooga in its estate planning and business practice areas. Stocking graduated with honors from Purdue University and The George Washington University Law School.

Phil Trammell has been named the new executive director of the Nonprofit Resource Center in Chattanooga. Trammell brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit development, administration, fundraising and event planning, including three years as vice president of development for Habitat for Humanity after previously working as vice president of development for the PBS television station WTCI.

Mayshan Ghiassi has joined the CHI Memorial Stroke and Neuroscience Center. Ghiassi received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. He completed a residency in neurological surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he also served as neurosurgery chief resident. Ghiassi also completed an endovascular fellowship at Vanderbilt.

Rob Martin has been promoted to vice president of underwriting and commercial financial management at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Martin joined BlueCross in 1997 and most recently served as director of underwriting and finance.
