As a digital journalist, I aid in cultivating and sharing content throughout our multimedia platforms. Newsgathering in the age of COVID-19 is fast paced with several updates every hour, and that can be difficult to adapt to as a journalist and reader.

I find that the majority of those in our community are adapting swiftly by nature - from how we conduct church services to how we volunteer and work.

I believe one can only adapt as well as they are informed, and one way to keep ourselves informed is by supporting local journalism. For instance, subscribing to our coronavirus email newsletter will offer a weekly update on the latest news and how it will affect you.

It is our mission to ensure that readers have access to accurate and helpful information during this time. That includes stories such as our local and state updates on the number of cases and tracking dining options for Chattanooga area restaurants.

As journalists work to inform you, it's also important to remember that we are people who are going through this experience alongside you.
