Five weeks ago, the Times Free Press launched TFP Families as a way to help parents and children stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic. When I originally pitched the idea to partner organizations, I thought it would be a temporary resource for the community until life got back to normal.
But life is not getting back to normal. And it probably won't for a very long time.
As week after week went by, and local schools announced they'll be shuttered for the rest of the school year, I also realized this could be a resource that may outlast the coronavirus pandemic. So, I want to know what you all would like to see more of on the page. More resources for younger students or older? More fun activities or lesson plans?
