TFP Families newsletter intro 5/4/20

Five weeks ago, the Times Free Press launched TFP Families as a way to help parents and children stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic. When I originally pitched the idea to partner organizations, I thought it would be a temporary resource for the community until life got back to normal.

But life is not getting back to normal. And it probably won't for a very long time.

As week after week went by, and local schools announced they'll be shuttered for the rest of the school year, I also realized this could be a resource that may outlast the coronavirus pandemic. So, I want to know what you all would like to see more of on the page. More resources for younger students or older? More fun activities or lesson plans? Please send your feedback and ideas to acollins@timesfreepress.com.

I want to know how we can reach even more families and be more helpful to you.
