MILLINGTON, Tenn. — Authorities in West Tennessee are investigating after firefighters responded to a truck fire and found a burned body inside after extinguishing the flames.
Shelby County Sheriff's spokesman Chip Washington told media that the pickup was found in a field off a road in Millington. He said it appears the body is that of a male.
Washington said deputies are investigating it as a suspicious death. He said officials are working to determine the identity of the person and the cause of the blaze.
