SHAWNEE, Kan. -- Emergency responders say three people were shot and wounded at a suburban Kansas City gun shop and a fourth person was wounded at a nearby location.
Johnson County MED-ACT spokeswoman Angela Fera says crews were called around 2:15 p.m. Friday to a store called She's A Pistol in Shawnee, Kansas. Crews transported three people who sustained critical gunshot wounds. A fourth person at the gun shop sustained minor injuries from an assault.
Fera says crews were called to a second scene more than 1 mile away around 3 p.m. The injuries of the fourth shooting victim weren't considered life-threatening.
Police didn't immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
