Eric McNielA Tampa, Fla., man wanted for sexual assault against a child was caught in Bradley County on Wednesday, the TBI said.
In a news release, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said its agents caught Eric McNiel, 22, who was wanted on a warrant from Hillsborough County, Fla., on a charge of lewd and lascivious behavior against a victim age 12-16.
On Wednesday, McNeil was taken into custody on Wampler Lane in Cleveland by TBI agents and officers from the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the TBI news release stated.
McNeil was booked into the Bradley County Jail as a fugitive from justice. He will be extradited to Florida in reference to the underlying charge.
