A man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound showed up at a local hospital Sunday evening.
The victim, Lovest L. Carter, turned 19 on Sunday, the day he was shot and arrested.
Carter was transported to a local hospital by a personally owned vehicle.
When police arrived to investigate, they say Carter changed the account of events during the investigation. Police determined Carter was the primary aggressor in the shooting.
A stolen gun was recovered from his vehicle, but no victims have come forward or been identified.
Carter is charged with felony reckless endangerment, false reports, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
