The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office arrested a Dalton man after he allegedly slid a belt around a juvenile girl's neck and asked, "Who's your daddy?"

According to an incident report, 59-year-old Robert Glenn Ward came home on a Friday night in September to find his daughter and another girl in his room. Ward then began wrestling with them, and his daughter's friend told an investigator that Ward's hand came close to her groin.

He then put his belt around the girl's neck, his daughter told the sheriff's office. Her friend showed an investigator a cellphone video of Ward shirtless, "attempting to play with the girls," according to the report.

His daughter also said Ward later showed them pornographic videos. The report does not say how old the girls are, only that they are juveniles.

The next morning, his daughter said, Ward asked her friend if she was masturbating because her hand appeared to be on her vagina when he found her in the living room the next morning. His daughter also said that Ward was with the girls at Walmart later that day when he suggested to the friend that she wear thong underwear.

Whitfield County Lt. Paul Woods told the Times Free Press that a grand jury indicted Ward on Thursday on charges of child molestation, sexual battery against a child under the age of 16 and assisting a minor in sexually explicit conduct. He was booked in the Whitfield County Jail on Monday.
