UPDATE: Body identified after being found near Candies Creek in Cleveland, Tenn.

The body of a female was found near Candies Creek between the 2500 block of Campbell Bridge Road and Westwood Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland, Tenn.

UPDATE: Cleveland, Tenn., police have identified the victim as Julie Ann Headrick, 59.

A cause of death has not been determined yet.

ORIGINAL STORY: The body of a female was found near Candies Creek between the 2500 block of Campbell Bridge Road and Westwood Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland, Tenn.

A passerby discovered the body and called police, Cleveland Police Sgt. Evie West said in a news release. 

The body was recovered and taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.
